What time are we upon?

1. Name: Regina Victoria, though I've gone by Sparrow and Bethan in various circles (online and real life.)

2. Age: 22.

3. Location: Northern California

4. Heritage: A mixed bag of European, though primarily English, Welsh, Scottish, and Irish. Also, 1/16th each Cherokee and Apache, from my father's side.

5. Hobbies/Interests: Many and varied. Off the top of my head: writing, reading, riding, gardening, gaming (online and console), drawing (though I'm rather horrible at it), designing websites, designing clothes (though I can't sew), bellydancing, history, science, steampunk, animals, cooking.

6. Five Positive Adjectives Which Describe You: Determined, logical, thoughtful, efficient, practical.

7. Five Negative Adjectives Which Describe You: Stubborn, insecure, unsympathetic, temperamental, lazy.

8. Place You'd Most Like To Visit: Oh, picking just one is difficult. If I absolutely had to say just one, I think I'd like to visit Wales.

9. Your Dream Job: I don't really have one, honestly; writer would work, as would something in a horticultural or agricultural field. Or working with animals. Even wife and mother would do, if I could also do the things that make me happy. Though, honestly, almost anything but my current hell of an office job would qualify as a "dream job" right now.

10. Favourite Books: Far too many to name. If I had to narrow it down... The Chronicles of Narnia, Bujold's Vorkosigan series, The Sharing Knife, Where The Red Fern Grows, Georgette Heyer's Regency novels, and The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant would all make the list.

11. Favourite Movies: The list changes constantly. I never really stop liking a movie, but I do move on. Those which have stood the test of time would be Flight of Dragons, Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Willow, Labyrinth, The Dark Crystal, The Land Before Time, Real Genius, Hellboy, Tombstone, the Aliens series, 1776, Glory, and The Legend of 1900.

12. Post Some Song Lyrics to Which You Can Relate: It's hard to think of any, though perhaps that's just because I'm half-asleep. About all I can come up with right now is from Poe's Fly Away:

It makes sense that it should happen this way
That the sky should break, and the earth should shake
As if to say: Sure it all matters but in such an unimportant way

13. Tell Us Something Interesting or Random About Yourself: I like to wear mismatched, brightly colored socks with my bright red shoes. It's silly, but it makes me happy.

14. Please Include At Least Two Clear Photos of Yourself:

These are both fairly old (four and six years, respectively) but they're the only decent photos of myself that I can access on this computer.
